WHAT IS VITAKIDS VITAMIN D3?

This is a vitamin D supplement for children to take on a daily basis. The small soft gummies are flavored with fresh peach, mango and strawberry (from natural fruit extract). They are super easy to chew and each gummy gives your child 25 mcg of vitamin D3.

All our VITAKIDS products are formulated WITHOUT artificial additives, artificial sweeteners, GMOs, gelatin and MSG.

WHY GIVE YOUR CHILD VITAMIN D?

Vitamin D is an essential fat-soluble vitamin that supports the body in several ways. Vitamin D is especially important for the development of teeth, bones and immune function, which is why health authorities around the world, recommends that children receive a vitamin D supplement on a daily basis already from the age of 14 days.

Several european health authorities also recommends children at the age of 1-4 years to be given a daily supplement of vitamin D (minimum 10 mcg). From the age of 4 years, children belongs in the same category as adults, who are recommended to take a vitamin D supplement in the period from October to April (minimum 10 mcg) on a daily basis.

There are two types of vitamin D, D2 and D3. This product is formulated with D3, as our experience and the experts we work with, find this variant of vitamin D most effective.
